Glittery Brown Napkin Rings

I thought you might like this idea. It's such a clever twist on the napkin ring holders you might have seen in the past. Keep in mind that you can do these in any colors that go with your decor.
Materials:
Wire edged ribbon
faux twigs with berries
Gold acrylic paint
Gold glitter(optional)
foam brush
bottle to use as form for napkin ring(glue or cosmetic bottles work well )
Tools
Hot glue gun
scissors
1. Cut ribbon into approx. seven inches.
2.Wrap a length of ribbon lightly around the bottle and hot glue the overlapping ends of ribbon together to form a ring.
3.Paint the faux twigs gold and immediately dunk the twig into the plate of glitter, sprinkle glitter onto any bare spots. Allow to dry. (this step is optional )
4.Glue the twig onto the ribbon ring.
Cute, Huh?

Bookworms?

What is a Bookworm ?

Well I'll tell you. This is something that I have been creating and have had a good response to. It's a lovely way to keep you place in your favorite book.

It's approximately 12 inches long and fits in the spine of your favorite book. It has a dangle and usually a charm hanging from one end, and a smaller dangle on the other end.

They make excellent gifts along with a favorite book.

There are featured on http://www.twocreativechicks.com/ in many styles and colors. Check them out !!!

Cute Cookbook Holder

I thought this was a great idea to help keep all your cookbooks together and organized. And it is such a simple idea .
Turn a magazine holder into fun and functional kitchen decor. Paint tiny designs on chipboard shapes and the base of the holder. To bring out the kitchen theme, attach an embellished wooden spoon.
Really, you could do anything you like, just use your imagination and have fun with it .
What a great gift for a wedding shower , and include your favorite recipe book.

Happy 4th Of July

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone out there a Happy 4th of July. While we are all spending time with our families this weekend, lets not forget the true meaning of this day.
To all the families that are apart from their loved ones, we appreciate the sacrifice that they are making for us, to live in a better world.
To all the armed force services we salute you and thank you !!

Inside-Out Bacon Cheeseburgers

I have one more idea for your next cookout. These are so good. Jennifer and I would rather have a good hamburger than a steak. We love hamburgers!!!
What you will need:
1 lb ground beef
3 tablespoons your favorite Ranch dressing
4 slices of cooked bacon crumbled
2 slices of single slice cheese cut into quarters
4 hamburger buns lightly toasted
4 lettuce leaves
8 slices tomato
Make it :
Mix meat and 2 tbsp dressing: shape into 8 thin patties. Combine remaining dressing and bacon.
Spoon onto centers of 4 patties: top with quarters of cheese and remaining patties.Pinch together edges to seal
Grill 7-9 minutes on each side
Garnish with lettuce and tomatoes.
Yummy Good!! I could go for one of those right now.
