Family Pictures

These 3 were taken today. I got to watch William while Mom went into work.

Our feast at Pine Valley. We went camping over the weekend with our friends from California

Views from our campsite

Our campsite. We had a huge one.

Our friends from California, Mike and Jennifer. They got to meet William for the first time

Grandpa and William.

Group picture

It started getting cold outside, so William borrowed a hat.

Someone turned out the lights on this little guy. It did not seem to bother him, he slept right thru it

This time when the lights went out, he thought it was funny !!

It was a long day!! Can you tell!! He finally fell asleep at the campground and they took him home and he slept straight thru til 3:30 in the AM It was all that good clean Pine Valley air.

We had a great weekend visiting with our friends. We don't get to see them very often but when we do we always have a good time.

"Good Weekend"

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. Ours was good, the kids came over for BBQ and some fun games on the WII . I have some pictures but have not downloaded yet, trying to get caught up. I have a slight procedure that I am going to have tomorrow so I am trying to get a few things done.

Might not be on for a couple of days, but hang in there I have a lot of Fall things flooding in to my inbox.

William Update

William had his 2 month checkup today!! Hard to believe but true. He is officially 11.4 pounds and 23.4 inches long.
This day just was too darn rough.

Grandpa getting a look.

" Mom, don't be ridiculous " Does it not look like that is what he is thinking .

Look at that smile. He was happy until we went to his appointment.

Jennifer, William and Dr Spano at his appointment. Dr Spano said that he is one "healthy" boy. Right on target with his growth schedule. He had 3 shots today which made for a very unhappy baby., but I guess that I would be in a fussy mood if it had been me.

Decorating with Quilts

Changing Times -- The opportunity to turn another person's trash into your own treasure is one of the great aspects of yard sale and flea market shopping. When you're out and about, be sure to look beyond an item's intended purpose to see if there is a way it might be used to show off your quilts. This baby changing table turned display shelf got a new life with a coat of red paint. The shelves are spaced perfectly to showcase folded quilts when not in use, and the top shelf could be turned into a vignette with family photos, dishes, or other home decor items.
A Step Above- Show off several quilts by displaying them on an antique ladder hung horizontally, rather than vertically. This arrangement allows for more of each quilt to show, as well as making a powerful decorating statement in your room.To prevent the ladder from discoloring your quilt, place folded white pillowcases between the quilt and ladder

"William"

Look at that smile!!
Jennifer and William came over today and had lunch. What a treat !!

He was just kicking back enjoying the surroundings

Baked Pork Chops

This is a different way to get your pork chops with that crunchy coating while baking them

You need
1 egg beaten
2 tablespoons water
boneless pork chops
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 cup Herb Seasoned stuffing, crushed

How to

Beat the egg and water in a shallow dish. Coat the pork with the flour. Dip the pork into the egg mixture. Coat with the stuffing. Place pork onto a baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until pork is cooked through

I would serve these with mashed potatoes and gravy and vegetable of your choice.
