Recycled Bird Feeder

I found this craft for recycled Frisbees at Thrifty Fun, thought you might like it. Can never have enough bird feeders and a good way to recycle.

You need 2 bolts, washers, and nuts
1 empty grated cheese container
Glue
2 Frisbees
Drill
Long needle nose tool
Wire and S hook

How to

Drill holes in the center of the Frisbees top and bottom, also top and bottom of the container, the same size as the bolts you will be putting through

Drill the bottom Frisbee with several holes for water drainage. Drill two small holes across from each other near the bottom of the container about 1/2 inch from the bottom. These holes should be about 1/3 inch wide.

Match up the container top to the underside of the top Frisbee and glue.

Put bolt through top and bottom set of holes, add washer and then the bolt, tighten. For top sections have a loop of wire ready to wrap around the bolt before tightening. For the bottom use the needle nose to brace the bolt from inside the container while using the screw driver on the outside of the Frisbee

Now it ready to fill, turn the top Frisbee and the container cap should screw right off with it.Add your S hook.

Color Styled-- Grocery store flowers offer cheer for mere pennies, but don't just plop them in a vase. Sorting the blooms by color and separating them into small vessels make them much more stylish

Notebook with Envelope Pockets

Make a favorite notebook or journal an organized repository for papers, business cards, and receipts by giving it a built in pocket. Did you Know ?

Did you Know --- That Coca Cola is a cure for rust. Just saturate an abrasive sponge with Coca Cola and scrub the stain. The phosphoric acid in the coke is what gets the job done.

Did you Know --- Cleaning liquid that doubles as bug killer. This is for bees, wasps, hornets or yellow jackets that may get in your home. Try a spray of Formula 409.Insects drop to the ground instantly.

Did you Know ---Smart Splinter remover. Just pour a drop of Elmer's Glue all over the splinter, let dry, and peel the dried glue off the skin. The splinter sticks to the dried glue.

Did you Know --- Kills fleas instantly. Dawn dish washing liquid does the trick. Add a few drops to your dog's bath and shampoo the the animal thoroughly. Rinse well to avoid skin irritations.

Did you Know --- Quaker Oats for fast pain relief. It's not just for breakfast anymore. Mix 2 cups of oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and warm in the microwave for 1 minute, cool sightly, and apply the mixture to your hands for soothing relief from arthritis pain.

Children are like Kites

You spend years trying to get them off the ground. You run with them until you are both breathless. They crash, they hit the roof, you patch, comfort, and assure them that someday they will fly.

Finally, they are airborne. They need more string and you keep letting it out. They tug,and with each twist of the twine, there is sadness that goes with joy. The kite becomes more distant, andyou know it won't be long before that beautiful creature will snap the lifeline that binds you together and will soar as meant to soar--free and alone.

Only then do you know that you have done your job.      By Erma Bombeck
