Penne Pesto with Chicken

This recipe makes 6 large servings. Very simple for weeknight meal.

You need

1 large bunch broccoli trimmed and cut into 1 1/2 pieces
1 box Penne Pasta
2 cloves garlic sliced
1 package fully cooked chicken cut into small bite size pieces (about 9 ounces )
1 container Basil Pesto (7 ounces )

How to

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add broccoli and cook for 3 minutes, scoop into bowl and add pasta to boiling water and cook for 9 minutes

Meanwhile drain water from broccoli, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in skillet and add garlic and cook for 2 minutes, stir in broccoli and cook for 3 minutes more. Season with 1/8 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Drain pasta Stir in chicken, pasta and pesto into skillet Cook for 2 minutes to heat through.
