Simple Stuffing

Here again I am sure we all know the basics of simple stuffing, here is a list of things you will need.

Note--- Drying the bread cubes and cooking the vegetables a day in advance helps this stuffing come together quickly on Thanksgiving Day. This stuffing was created to accompany the Herb Roasted Turkey.

2 loaves Italian bread torn into bite size pieces
4 tablespoons butter room temperature
4 celery stalks thinly sliced
4 shallots minced
2 garlic cloves minced
Coarse salt and ground pepper
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup parsley leaves chopped
3 large beaten eggs
2 can reduced sodium chicken broth

Just before roasting turkey, stuff it with 4 cups stuffing. Spoon remaining stuffing into a buttered baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil,and refrigerate. When turkey is removed from oven place covered baking dish in oven for 25 -30 minutes. Then uncover and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
