Box Seat

Garden guests will sit up and take notice when they see an old chair with a glower box seat. Look for old chairs with missing cushions and seats, then build a simple box to hold flowers.

You need : Old chair with small rim /1/4 inch pine board/plywood scrap/glue/nails/clamps/drill/wood sealer/window screen scrap

How to

Cut the 1.4 inch pine to make a box that fits inside the chair seat. Glue and nail the corners using butt joints, and clamp the joints until the glue dries

Cut a base from exterior grade plywood. Glue and nail it to the frame, Drill drainage holes through the bottom.

Seal the box with exterior grade sealer Line the bottom with window screen before adding soil
