1 pound elbow macaroni
1.5 cups milk or half and half
12 - 18 slices American or Cheddar cheese
12 Ritz crackers
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Cook and drain the macaroni and let it cool slightly. Heat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13x9 baking pan
2. Spoon 1/3 of the pasta into the pan,then our 3/4 cup of half and half and cover it all with 4 to 6 slices of cheese. Add two more layers of pasta,half and half and cheese.
3.Next crush a dozen Ritz crackers in a zip lock bag, add salt and pepper ,shake to mix, and sprinkle the crumbs over the op layer of pasta and cheese.
4. Bake 30 - 40 minutes or until bubbly
