Maybe I am rushing Spring,(I'm sure I am ) but this is a good idea to help save your knees when doing all those down and dirty jobs. This pad is made with water repellent acrylic fabric. You will need to cut a piece of fabric 12x18 fold in half. With right sides facing pin a pair of elastic loops into the seam opposite the fold. Sew seams in two sides, turn right side out. With a pencil and ruler draw a series of parallel lines to the fold and 1 1 /2 inches apart for the length of the pad. Top stitch the lines.creating hollow partitions.
Using a funnel, fill the partitions with buckwheat hulls or flax seed, then sew up the last side with a slip stitch. Roll the pad and secure it with elastic straps when not in use.
