Baby Shower-Room Wreath

A great use for plastic bags and a great way to recycle.

This adorable baby wreath is made with a wire coat hanger and white plastic bags.

Start by bending your coat hanger into a circle, leaving the hook at the top to hang it with.

Now take you bags and cut into strips around 20-3o cms in length. The length will determine how fluffy your wreath is. The quantity you tie on will determine how thick your wreath is.

You will need about 20 white trash bags to complete your wreath. It took 2 white garbage bags for this one.

Start tying the strips on the hanger until completely covered.

Then you can embellish it with baby items. Socks, pacifiers, miniature bottles, safety pins, rattles, anything that you can find. Ribbon would be a nice touch also .

Some stores have kitchen bags in colors like blue or pink, if you know the babies sex, that would be a cute idea.

You could even use this same principal using fabric strips using a non fraying fabric.
