Fall Pumpkins with drilled holes

While you have your drill out, maybe you might want to try this more sophisticated design .

Supplies:

Pumpkin
Sharp knife
Large spoon for scooping
Round stickers
Electric drill with various size bits

Directions:

Crave out the top of the pumpkin beveling the cut with the narrower diameter toward the bottom

Scoop out the seeds

Create a pattern for the holes by applying stickers to the pumpkin. These pumpkins have simple vertical rows, small 4 hole diamonds and linked triangle patterns.

When satisfied with the pattern, use the drill to bore holes through the pumpkin. Different size bits will give you a variety of size holes for a more decorative effect.

To light the pumpkin place a small pillar candle inside and replace top
